Choosing which order events email you
Configure which order events trigger an email, and whether you receive them for just your orders or all company orders.
Raal notification emails
Raal can email you at four points during an order's life. You control which of those events email you, and whether the trigger applies to just your own orders or to all orders placed in your company.
Where to set this
Click your profile in the top right of the Raal portal.
Open Settings > Notifications.
You'll see four rows, each with a toggle and a scope selector.
The four notification categories
New orders
You get an email when an order is placed. Useful for managers who want a heads-up that something is in flight.
Delivered orders
You get an email when an order's status hits Delivered. Useful for finance (confirms a charge is due) and for IT (confirms the asset has reached its destination).
Order status changes
You get an email for every status transition (Collection scheduled, Collected, In transit, etc.). The chattiest of the four; recommended only for operations users.
Raal message
You get an email when Raal support or operations posts a comment on an order. Important if you're the person who'll need to respond to those comments. Recommended for at least one user per company.
The "my orders" vs "company orders" scope
Each category has a scope selector:
My orders: you only get emails for orders you placed (and which you're a contact on).
Company orders: you get emails for every order anyone in your company places.
Most users keep this on My orders. Set it to Company orders if you're the IT operations lead, an admin who wants full visibility, or covering for someone on leave.
Turning all emails off
Toggle each of the four categories off and save. You'll still see updates inside the portal (the order detail page shows the timeline regardless), and Raal support will still reach you via email for issues that need a response, but routine status emails will stop.
Where notifications come from
Notification emails are sent from a Raal address. If you're not receiving them despite having toggles on:
Check your spam or junk folder.
Whitelist the Raal sender domain with your IT team.
Confirm the email on your user profile is correct (Settings > General Settings).
